Not just a classmate but a highly valued teammate, I still hear Bob's laughter as we prepared for a critical game or we were in the heat of a game, we could always count on Bob, without a doubt, to take care of the ball. He was our point guard! So, with heartfelt sympathy, may your heart be filled with warm thoughts and treasured moments of Bob be of comfort to you. 1965 classmate and teammate, Vertlee Trice.

What a treasure Bob was. We had so much fun at Ottawa Hills. He was a great athlete and I loved watching him play basketball. You could always depend on him to greet you with a smile.

Bob was one those people that we "younger" generation of Ottawa Hills athletes looked up to and wanted to emulate. One of the most unselfish athletes of his time and a great role model. We are terribly sad to hear of his passing. He made a very real and lasting impact on some of us who followed him at Ottawa and even though I saw him rarely as an adult I very much looked forward to those brief encounters at Alumni events etc. Pat Smith "OHHS 69"

So sorry to learn that Bob is no longer with us. I only knew Bob in high school and he always had a positive impact on those around him. My blessings go out to his wife and family.

So very sorry for Bob's family and friends. Having graduated from OHHS with Bob and seeing him at reunions over the years , he always had a smile and kind words leaving you with a smile. He will be missed. Praying for God' s strength for his family. The world has lost a good man
