I was very fortunate to purchase land from Richard in 1993 to fulfill my dream of having a Tree Farm. In the early years, he was always available to bail me out of trouble when I would get a truck or tractor stuck driving in areas I shouldn't have been . He taught me a lot and was knowledgeable in so many things. I will miss the friendly conversations about life in general. I very much admired how physically active Richard was over the years.

Dick was a great neighbor to us for the last 25+ years. He always had a smart comment when I saw him that would make us laugh. We are going to miss seeing him across the street. He was always busy zipping around. Just last summer he was on top of the combine working on it, then up on his roof after a storm.

The best friend anybody could ask for. Our condolences to the entire family and friends who will miss him so much. But I do know this..... There better not be any taxes in Heaven, or God is in for a real ear full!

I have been a good friend and neighbor Dick for over 32 years. We would take turns stopping at each others farms and talking about any thing that came up. I will surly miss him and wish his family the best during thistime. You will be in our prayers. Russ & Shirley Clutter

Dick is gone! Dick was my brother and I could write pages and pages of memories. I remember the day that he was born. It was on an Easter Sunday. I was three and the Easter Bunny had hidden an Easter basket under a piece of furniture. When Dr. Lowe came to our little house, I wanted to show him my Easter basket, but he was more interested in some thing that was going on in the next room. I
