Doris was a fellow teacher at LHS. I will forever remember her with her white coffee carafe in one hand as she walked past on her way each morning to her classroom. She was a real character! R.I.P. Doris. You will be remembered by many.

I had the good fortune to have Ms Sleeman in 1970 at Lakewood. Not only was she a great teacher, she was such fun. And she really respected her students. Even when we played and teased. She had a wonderful sense of humor. As I proof this I worry if my punctuation is right. RIP teacher.

Mrs. Sleeman was an awesome teacher who helped me at a time in my life when I was struggling terribly. She inspired me to think differently and to enjoy literature of many kinds that I would have never read on my own. Such a sweet, sweet teacher and lady.

Have thought about Mrs.Sleeman often through the years. Many mornings did I make the trip to the office to get her a cup of coffee. We talked a while ago and she told me she kept my story that I wrote for class. We never did reconect. Would have loved to see her again. We were going to meet so I could get said paper. She was a very good teacher. Enjoyed her class. Well not having to read May you all find some peace and God bless you all.
