Some of my fondest memories include Bert and the
laughs we had.

We worked (and laughed and giggled) at so
many Band Booster events together! She was
so sweet and a joy to be with.

Worked a lot of long days and she helped make them fun and we still accomplished a lot.

As I have aged, I have thought a lot of those days when our kids were young...and smile
to have such good memories.

RIP Bert...thank you for the fun and pleasure of
knowing you.

MY sincere condolences for you and your family. It is never easy dealing with a loss of a loved one. I hope you find comfort as I did in John 11: 25 & 26.

Dear Wixson family - So sorry to hear of your great loss. What a sweet, dear lady who was no doubt loved my many. I loved growing up in the neighborhood and loved seeing her in church at North Avenue for many wonderful years. She always gave great hugs - may God comfort your family and may many sweet memories fill all of your hearts forever.

With much sympathy and love - Karen (Van Daff) Arnett

I am so sorry for your loss Wixson family. I knew Bert because her son, Melvin, and I both went to elementary school at Dudley. I remember Bert as being very involved in school activities, attending fairs and fundraisers, and the PTA. She was friends with my mother, Betty Bateman, who also participated in school activities. Years later...my sister, Sara, married Melvin, and their daughter, Claire, is my niece. Claire speaks fondly of Grandma Wixson and the many events they were involved in over the years. Melvin and Claire both love
Bert and will miss her dearly.
