I am so sorry for the loss of Phil. I had the privilege of working for him over the past 26 years. He has always been a kind and respectful man. He loved showing me the videos that he made and narrated. I had many talks and laughs with him. He was such a adventurous and courageous man. I feel privileged to have known him.He will be truly missed by all who knew him. I am sure God has him in the palm of his hand.

There was peril, too, on the big lakes in the Northwest Territories, Canada's arctic and subarctic region, as we struggled against strong headwinds and high waves.
