Memories & Candles
My deepest sympathy to all of the family. I last saw Joyce a few years ago when my mom, Ruth Kay (Painesville Ohio), and I were traveling through Michigan. I was amazed at her spirit and positive outlook even as she maneuvered her chair around the house. She joked about visiting Leroy and the fun of scooters and wheelchairs.
When we were children I remember all the Flessner gatherings at the farms and loving her laughter; it was refreshing to hear that laughter again when visiting.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all

Grandma was such a wonderful example to me! She was full of life and spirit. Her courage in the last few years I will never forget. I am so proud to have known her and to be one of her many descendants. I look forward to the day I will meet her again.
