Francis "Frank" Joseph Zubaly, 52, of Battle Creek, died December 20, 2011 at work. He was born March 29, 1959, the son of Lajos and Maria (Tomas) in, Homestead, Pennsylvania. Frank graduated from Inglewood High School in California and worked as an auto body technician at Lakeview Body Shop for 27 years. He married Martha Keown on July 2, 1983. Martha survives him. Frank is also survived by their daughters, Erika (Jw) Harper of Burlington, Sheena (Steve) Winiarski of Franklin, Tennessee, Ashley Zubaly (David Christ) of Battle Creek; son, Adam Zubaly of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Leland Harper, Addison Harper, both of Burlington; his mother, Maria Zubaly of Battle Creek; his father, Lajos Zubaly of South River, New Jersey; sisters, Barbara (Glen) Dunlap of Battle Creek, Elizabeth (John) Wood of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; brother, Louis Zubaly of Idaho and many nieces and nephews. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandpa, son, brother and uncle. He was a hard worker who gave all he had to provide for his family. He loved his wife of 28 years and his children and grandchildren with an unselfish and undying love. All who knew him described him as a man of character, integrity, dedication, strength and most of all, kindness. He had a heart of gold and was a gentle giant! He loved Jesus Christ with all his heart and we know that he is in His presence. Frank will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4:00 p.m. and 6 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 26, 2011 at Shaw Funeral Home. Services will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Michael Brown, South Side Bible Church, officiating. Memorials may go to the family in care of South Side Bible Church. The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home. www.shawfuneralhome.com
