Very saddened and shocked at the unexpected death of Darrell. Have been working together the last several months on a building project at U.S. Lumber where I found him very knowledgeable, helpful and extremely cooperative.
Just became aware that he is married to Teri, who has our warmest sympathies in this time of sorrow.

I bought my first Cameo from Darrell! He let me make payments on it, which was and is not the norm with most people. One day I drove in his driveway, think wow this car sounds so tough! Well he walks out shaking his head, guess it was not suppose too sound that way, I needed to get a muffler repair! Or the day we were riding back from McDonald's and I was arguing with my sister about something, many times he asked me to stop, well he finally pulled over and kicked me out of the boat (car) yes I did shut up so he let me back in. He was my father figure, tried always to steer me in the right direction, told me when I was messing up yet never failing to do so with that smile and a pat on the back. Heaven gained a really good man!

Teri and family,
I'm so grateful to be among those that knew this amazing man. Working with him at the lumber yard made coming to work a pleasure. Darrell always had time to listen and help... always with a kind smile and gracious heart. I vividly remember your wedding day and the love you two shared with each other and everyone else. Bill and I are so very sorry for this. It's just much too soon. Sending you all our love and prayers and wishing we could be there.
God bless you all,

I wish I could be there,so many things happen in life we can't control but the passing of a spouse is the most devastating, life goes on but the empty space remains,we must work hard to fill the empty with love and prayers and when we do the peace and joy will come.
