On February 13, 2017, Carol Joyce Biesbrock, with her family by her side, ended her battle with Parkinson's Disease and entered her Eternal Home. Carol was an only daughter of John and Gertrude Hirdes who preceded her in death as well as her husband, Melvin Biesbrock.
Carol, age 76, will be lovingly remembered by her son Mike (Becky) Biesbrock and daughter Mary (Terry) Brinks. Carol also enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren. Other family includes sister-in- law Doris Biesbrock, brother-in-law Bob (Elaine) Biesbrock, Harvey (Gloria) Biesbrock, and Harold (Sharon) Biesbrock.
Carol was a loving mother and grandmother, faithful wife and hardworking woman who overcame any struggle or hardship through her faith with the Lord. She had a heart for sharing her faith and was even witnessing with those around her until the last few months of her life. She was a stay at home mom for many years until she began working for First Michigan Bank/Huntington Bank, where she eventually retired. Carol loved knitting, crocheting, gardening, canning, baking and bringing food to the sick and visiting shut in's. The family would like to thank the staff at Sheldon Meadows and Hospice of Holland for their loving and compassionate care of our mother.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00am at Bauer CRC with Pastor Tim Holwerda officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-9 pm at Yntema Funeral Home in Zeeland.
