George was born on March 12, 1928 and passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018.

George was a resident of Greenville, Michigan at the time of passing.

George was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Navy during World War II, and was a lifetime member of the Ray Booth American Legion Post 101..

He is survived by his son, Thomas (Carolyn) Foote of Greenville; grandchildren, Kitty (Terry) Cramer of Lowell and Rocky (Wanda) Foote of Lyons; great-grandchildren, Crystal and Charlene; great-great-grandchildren, Gage, Reese, Madalyn, and Corben; great-great-great-grandchild, Sadyrah; brother, Michael Foote of California; and brother-in-law, Darwin Powell of Six Lakes. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Hurst Funeral Home. Pastor Ken Harger will serve as officiant, and military honors will be rendered under the auspices of the Ray Booth American Legion Post 101. Visitation will Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Private interment will be in Rest Haven Memory Gardens..
