Harold came to Battle Creek in 1956, and became the Pastor at Battle Creek Missionary Baptist Church, later known as Harmony Baptist Church. He has been the Pastor for 60 years. He retired as a systems development manager at the former Transamerica Insurance Group in Battle Creek after 29 years. He represented Transamerica to many business groups.

Surviving are two aunts, Betty Cosby of Tishomingo, MS; Clora Westbrook of Meridian, MS; and numerous cousins and their families. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, three uncles, six aunts and four first cousins.

Harold was a dedicated, loving Baptist Pastor, who was very generous to those in need with his time and his own earthly possessions. Harold was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. He lovingly shepherded his congregation for the past 33 years and is survived by a congregation who will miss him dearly.
