Mr. Morin was born on July 9, 1929 and passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017.
Mr. Morin was a resident of Muskegon, Michigan at the time of his passing.
He was a WWII US Navy Seabees veteran, and was instrumental in bringing the USS Silversides submarine to Muskegon, and founding the USS Silversides Museum, which is named for him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the USS Silversides Museum, 1346 Bluff St., Muskegon, 49441, visitation 2-3 pm, service 3-4 pm.
