Rosemary "Rosie" King, age 73 of Muskegon, passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Rosie was born to Joseph and Leona Prentkiewicz, and was a lifetime resident of Muskegon. She graduated from Muskegon Heights High School, and would later work at K-Mart in the deli, and at Pinkerton Security. Rosie was a woman of faith, and was a member at Evanston Avenue Baptist Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Overall though, family was the most important to Rosie. She worked hard as a single mother to take care of her daughters, and she always made sure that they felt loved and cared for. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters: Susie (Frank) Klootwyk, and Ronda (Ryan) Klootwyk; Grandchildren: Kevin (Brandy) Klootwyk, Eric (Marion) Klootwyk, Christine (Robert) Garris, Ryan (Cara) Klootwyk, Reid Klootwyk, Great-grandchildren: Frankie, Natalie, Devin, Blake, Aubrey, Derek, Chance, and Carter. Brother Ronald Prentkiewicz; Sisters: Sally Cox, Judy Goetz, Sandy Richeson, Susie Jarles. There will be a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, November 25th at 3 p.m. at the Carriage House Community Building located at 1890 Carriage Rd, Muskegon, MI 49442.
