Dora Lee Arnold, 93, of Cassopolis, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, in Heartland Health Care Center, Three Rivers. She was born June 7, 1919, in New Madrid, Missouri to John and Lula Mae (Nelson) Kemp. She married Ollen Arnold in East Prairie, Missouri in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1990. She was also preceded by one son, John Ollen Arnold. Dora Lee was a homemaker. She liked to garden, and would rather dance than eat. She was a very special mother and grandmother, greatly loved by all her family. Dora Lee will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by three daughters, Doris (Bill) Pipher of Jones, Dixie Ann (Thomas) Locke-File of Cassopolis, Mary (Garry) Marko of Decatur; three sons, Charlie (Linda) Arnold of Cassopolis, Curtis (Juanita) Arnold of Cassopolis, and Rick (Melissa) Arnold of Cassopolis; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and one sister, Orpha Lampkin of Harrison, Arkansas. The family will observe a private remembrance of her life. The family prefers memorial contributions to Cass County Council on Aging (COA), Post Office Box 5, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031-0005.
