Jacqueline Jean Howard, 81, of Battle Creek, died May 26, 2012 at Bronson Battle Creek. She was born July 19, 1930, the daughter of Clair and Hazel (Cloyed) Neff in Pennfield Township. Jacqueline graduated from Battle Creek Central in 1948. She married Calvin E. Howard on July 24, 1948. Calvin survives. Also surviving are children, Janet (Dale) Enyart of East Leroy, William (Laura) Howard of Battle Creek, Patricia Brown of Mason; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Bert Neff and Donald Neff. Jacqueline was a former 4-H leader and enjoyed puzzles and traveling. Graveside services will take place 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Rob Nystrom, Athens United Methodist Church, officiating. Memorial donations may go to the American Heart Association (http://www.heart.org). The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home.
